~Our Cruise~
I honestly do not even know where to begin when talking about our cruise. It was so fun and we got to see and experience so many amazing things! Before booking our cruise, I began researching the different cruise lines and destinations. I knew we wanted to see Greece and did not want to have any sea days. After looking through cruises I liked Bari as our main port. Bari, Italy had cheap flights from Frankfurt Hahn through Ryanair and hotels were very affordable.
I decided to go with MSC because I like the reviews on the cruise line and liked the port destinations better. I also liked how MSC had longer port days than other cruise lines. I booked through Jamey at Your World Travel and had a very pleasant experience with him. He is very responsive and always a step ahead of me reserving/holding rooms while we made our decision. We decided on a balcony room. It was a bit more but was worth the extra cost. Rand goes to bed early so it was nice to have the balcony to "escape" to while Rand fell asleep.

~MSC Fantasia~
While planning our trip, we had friends that decided they wanted to go with us! Our friends have a little boy Rand's age and they have become fast friends of ours. It was great traveling with another family, especially one who understands we can't do everything with little ones. Bonus, my friend speaks Italian!
After booking our cruise and flight, we booked our hotel in Bari. We flew out 2 days before our cruise because that is all that Ryanair offered. It was a blessing in disguise because we enjoyed having a full day to explore Bari and map out our plan on how to board our ship. We stayed at B&B La Corte Del Borgo Antico and the owners, Anna and Sabrina were so kind. And our hotel was within walking distance to the port. It was a bit challenging with our bags and kids but we were able to do it.
I will be breaking our cruise down into different entries since I have lots of great info on each port and also some great pics! We started our trip in Bari, Italy where we boarded our Italian cuise MSC Fantasia for a 7 day cruise through the Greek isles. We stopped at Santorini, Corfu, Athens, Dubrovnik (Croatia) and Venice (Italy) before heading back to Bari. We were supposed to stop at Olympia but the weather was so bad that we couldn't port :(
Here are some pics of our room and the ship
