Wilhelmina's Nursery

As soon as we found out we were having a girl I started day dreaming about the perfect nursery. I took to Pinterest for ideas and started my DIY projects soon after.

When I got pregnant the first time with a girl (we had a stillborn in 2012) I fell in love with this bumper from Land of Nod called How Does your Garden Grow. Of course it has been 5 years and they no longer sell it but I lucked out on Ebay and found the bumper of my dreams. That was my inspiration for the rest of the nursery.

(Picture from online)

I searched high and low for a large print pink gingham fabric to make my own curtains but I wasn't finding anything under $25 a yard. These are not only already made but are also blackout curtains so I gave in and bought them... plus I couldn't resist the Black Friday sale at Land of Nod.

The crib and changing table are both Jenny Lind styles in white and the dresser we got at a local antique stop. The rocking chair is my late Mother-in-law's that she used to rock Rob in when he was a baby. The side table was emerald green when I found it at a local thrift store. Thank goodness for pink chalk paint.
It is just easier to list of things I made and will eventually get around to posting the tutorials and link them on here :)
