12 months old!

I can not believe my little man is 1 year old!!! These past 12 months have gone by so fast :( I have enjoyed every minute of this past year and look forward to a lifetime of more magical moments. Not only are we celebrating 12 months of Rand's life but also 12 months of breastfeeding (and counting) and 12 months of cloth diapering. 

Rand is a super fast crawler and loves climbing up the stairs. He is cruising on furniture but still has no desire to walk on his own. He loves to wave bye and we are working on blowing kisses but it looks more like a salute. Rand doesn't watch much TV except on long road trips and this month his favorite is Michey Mouse Club House and the Curious George movie. We started mixing goat milk into his morning oatmeal and really seems to like it so we are now introducing goat milk in a sippy cup. I cut bananas from his diet because he has had horrible eczema for the past few months and after cutting it out of his and my diet for 2 weeks, it cleared up about 90%. I accidentally gave him a fruit bar that had banana in it the other day and it flared back up... so no more bananas!

Rand's 1 - 12 month shots

11 months!

I know I keep saying this but I can not believe how fast my little guy is growing up! He has such a great little personality and I love to watch him explore and experience 

new things! This month Rand has mastered waving "bye-bye" and clapping! 

He also signs "milk" and has started to repeat whatever  Daddy says, like "roar!"

Eight months

My poor sick baby :( Rand has been battling a horrible bug this month. It didn't seem to phase him but I hated seeing him so sick. He was burning up, had horrible diarrhea and was throwing up. He also had a terrible cough and stuffy nose. The worst part was, we weren't even home when he got sick. We were in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, so the next morning we rushed back home to bring him to the doctor. 

Rand and I got back from the states beginning of December and it was so sweet seeing him great his Daddy. I can't decided who missed who more but I think it was a tie between Rand and his Daddy. The flight back wasn't bad... actually, I take that back. Right as we were taking off, Rand had a HUGE blow-out! I am so glad we are back in cloth diapers after being is spoisies for a month. 

Its starting to get really hard to get these month shots done. 

All he wants to do is roll over and "army crawl."

Seven months

Rand has really become a world traveler after this month. Rand and I flew to the States to see my family for Thanksgiving and ended up traveling to see my sisters in Virginia as well. It was a 9.5 hour flight and was very lucky to not have anyone sit next to me so I could spread out and put Rand down to nap. He did very well on the flight, no problems at all... but we still have to fly back home to Germany next week. 

Rand has had a blast meeting his extended family. He got to meet his Dodad (Rob's Dad) and the entire side of my family. He is going to miss his cousins so much. Here are my favorite pics from our trip to the states, thus far.

 

Six months

October was another busy month for the Galey family. Rand started cutting teeth and took him first train ride to Oktoberfest in Stuttgart. Rand also got dressed up in traditional lederhosen his Grandma and Grandpa bought him in Salzburg and we all 

went to a pumpkin fest not far from our house.

Five months!

September was a busy month for us. Besides starting to roll over, mastering his adorable laugh, you said "Mum!" That was the highlight of this month! BONUS- I caught it on video!!!

Now, on top of all the new things Rand did this month we went to Bellagio, Italy.

Four months old

It has been pretty quiet since my Mom and Dad left to go back home to the States. I know Rand is definietly missing all the attention & extra kisses. 

Our little chunker is starting to get really strong. He loves to kick and has a lot of leg strength. He loves spending time in his jumper and kicking his little piano. We are still working on having Rand sit up on his own and he can do it for a few seconds but quickly falls back. He is still hating tummy time so I have to start getting more created with it.

three months

You are turning out to be quite the little world traveler, Randolph. This month your Grandma and Grandpa came all the way from America to see you! Shortly after they arrived we went traveling all around Germany and even Austria. You were a wonderful traveler and I couldn't have asked for a more chill and relaxed baby. Even though we have been traveling you are still sleeping 10 hours straight at night.
