DIY twiggy letters

I have been searching online for inspiration to make twig letters for my son's nursery. I ended up stumbling upon a great tutorial on Pinterest here and decided to make mine a bit different. I ended up buying a pack of dried grapevines on eBay.
Once I got them I put them in a deep pot of water overnight to soften them so when I bend them, they do not break. The next morning I took them out and
cut them to fit the templates of letters I drew out on paper.

After I finished bending, cutting and fitting them to
what I wanted, I tied them with clear fishing wire.

I let them dry out on a flat surface till the next day and then I hung them above my crib. Make sure to check on the letters while they dry so they don't curl up or out of place.
