We have been wanting to visit Nürnberg for a while now and finally had the chance to go for a day trip with Abby to visit the world-famous Christkindlesmarkt Christmas Market in Nuremberg. This Christmas Market has been going for more than 400 years.
I loved visiting the city of Nürnberg. The cathedrals and other sites were really beautiful. What I really enjoyed was the children’s section just around the corner from the Christkindlesmarkt. It was really a Weihnachtsmarkt just for kids. They had tons of rides (a 2-story carrousel, ferriswheel, steam train and more) and an indoor playing area filled with Playmobil toys.
Be sure to keep an eye out for the Nuremberg Christmas Angel who visits regularly the Children’s Christmas area.
