Weihnachtsmarkt- Mannheim

After a trip to Ikea, we headed to the Weihnachtsmarkt 

in Mannheim to grab some lunch 

and enjoy some mulled wine (Glühwein). 

We parked near Altstadt near the Weihnachtsmarkt.

When we got home, we finished decorating our Christmas tree. Rand enjoyed helping me hang ornaments.

Cochem and train travel

A couple days after Christmas, we took a train to Cochem to show Rob's Dad and sister some more cute German towns. 

Strasbourg Weihnachtsmarkt

I LOVE Strasbourg! It is such an adorable city and has so much to offer. I was very excited to go and enjoy the sites again with family and enjoy the Christmas festivities. Whenever we go to Strasbourg, we park at the Modern Museum of Art.

Christmas and Castles

Christmas morning St Niklaus did not come for a visit but Rob's Dad (Do-Dad) did! He flew in that morning from Michigan to visit us Rand. It was nice to have part of the Galey family together for the holidays. Rand enjoyed all the extra love and attention from his Aunt Abby and Do-Dad.

I got a Bernina!!!

After opening presents, we took Bob out for his first castle experience at Kusel Castle just 30 minutes away from us. Rand 

had a blast running around the castle ruins.
